Thousands of pounds of White Sage are picked every year during the Summer harvest in California, so you can rest assured you are getting the freshest, highest quality White Sage. Sometimes Desert Sagebrush (Artemisia tridentata) is sold as "White Sage" even though it is completely unrelated to White Sage (Salvia apiana). Yes it's a little cheaper than White Sage, but make sure you know what you are buying because they're different plants with, not surprisingly, completely different scents. This smudge stick is about 23 cm long and about 5cm in diameter. The White Sage was harvest in July this year.
